Syangja is situated in the Western development region in Gandaki zone. It lies at an altitude of about 1088m above sea level. Siddhartha highway links Bhairahawa with Pokhara through Syangja. It is a first district of Nepal to implement the concept of Homestay for promoting the village tourism.
